A digital twin of Mikko Lavanti’s AI Avatar for Nokia’s booth is a sophisticated piece of technology that uses his original voice, synthesized to perfection, to answer questions in a range of languages, including Arabic. Mikko Lavanti was scanned in a 164 camera Highres scanner which forms the basis for the avatar. The result is a photorealistic 3D model, rendered on a high-performance graphics PC.
The avatar is displayed inside a hologram cylinder with a 2D display, and it is tracked so that the user always has the correct 3D perspective within a range of 90°.
The AI Large Language Model is equipped with knowledge of Nokia products, enabling natural and engaging conversations with booth visitors. Nokia provides the technical knowledge base that fuels the avatar’s expertise.
