During the Kyalami Autoweek 2022, South Africa, we showed with our partner Nokia for Vodacom, the first time our augmented reality car configurator. There we enabled the customers to change the color and configuration of a real Porsche 911, in a seamless way by voice commands on the Microsoft Hololens 2.
Our app can be operated as a 5G enabled, cloud edge rendered service, including the whole databank of configurations the car, save the configuration in real time. The customer can store the configurations and compare at the end different configurations and order them. This application can be an enabler to future car retail concepts where in-town retail concepts in small spaces get in reach by AR technology.
